Hello! We are Artwood , a family business that designs and produces 100% by hand in Spain, and where, like you, we know that family is one of the most important treasures we have in life.
For us, family is not only the reason we started this project, but also the reason we continue, because working together strengthens us and fills us with joy. We've always been a close-knit family, but doing this thing we're passionate about together brings us even closer every day. Personally, I (Manuela, the one speaking to you from behind the screens) can't imagine a life without my family, and having the privilege of working together is a dream come true.

Artwood wasn't created on a specific day; it was born in the late 90s, but it grew alongside me. We were the first brand in the world to create designs of this style and work them in wood, designing them with a pencil, without technology, without references, just a sheet of paper, a pencil, and a lot of enthusiasm.

I grew up surrounded by workshops, sawdust, and wood, which is why I didn't learn this trade; I was born with it, and it's a part of me forever. When I joined this project as an adult, I knew every step, even without ever having touched wood before. My mind remembered each and every process involved in crafting a piece because, from a very young age, I immersed myself in my parents' work, which is now also my own.

The truth is, our story isn't perfect. I like to be honest, and in these kinds of stories, I delve into a real story, not a pretty one meant to sell, because starting a business has never been easy (and it still is). We've had to start from scratch many times, opening small, cramped workshops that we set up with more enthusiasm than resources, reinventing ourselves, falling down, getting back up, questioning whether to continue... but there's one thing that has never changed, and that's our goal: to be able to make a living doing what we love and to bring joy to many families with our products.

Today, at 26, this craft is still in my blood. Every product we make is crafted with love and the same dedication I've witnessed since childhood. And the most rewarding thing of all is thinking about the emotion of the families when they receive them, because we know what it means to remember loved ones, to see your family reflected in the product, and to feel something deep inside. When we carve your chosen design, when we engrave your names, we are creating a keepsake you will cherish forever .
